Still looking for easiest way to tap into the VSS wire on my 99 C5 for my navigation. On my 97 Camaro with the same Delco headunit I was able to simply tap right into the VSS wire (green with white stripe) right at the wire harness going into the head unit for the speed controlled volume. Does the vette have the same setup? I know there is a green and white wire in the harness but not sure if its a speed signal. Does anyone know if thats what this wire is?

I was told there is and thats its the green wire with white stripe, but there are more than one of these colors can anyone tell me which pinout?

Looks like you are correct. The schematic shows it as dark green/white. It shows it headed for the IP but I'd have to trace it further.

Ok n/m there actually is only 1 green/white wire going into the main wire harness of the headunit. I tapped into that and all should be good now for my Pioneer navigation. MUCH easier than what everyone else recommends of tapping into the yellow wire under the car and near the differential.
