can anyone get me a part # for an exhaust manifold stud?

My CD only goes to 2001 on that part, but the number for 01 is 12562640. I actually looked at these studs this morning as I plan to re-build my stockers before I store them away. They are not really very good studs and I may look aftermarket for something better.

The catalog I'm looking at is from the downloads section in Crossflags.com. The part # there is 14060030. Also, it's a M10X1.5X35....10.9PC if you care about the strength rating. You should be able to get that at any hardware place. Not what I consider a critical bolt, so I don't think it matters that Home Depot bolts are weak.
Not having a good time with your muffler swap are you?

The stud part number on my '04 LS-1 is 12562640 also, so I think you're pretty safe with that. The prevailing torque nut (M10X) part number is 10255857.
When I recently snapped one stud while reinstalling the exhaust mid section after an abs-of-aluminum install, I decided to replace all six studs and nuts because; 1) all six nuts came off hard (my fault for not using anti-seize at that point), and, 2) all six went on even harder (again, my fault for not using anti-seize). Harder than the 15 lb.-ft. of torque called for on those studs, that's for sure!
Bottom line is that one should never reuse prevailing torque nuts or the fasteners they are attached to.
I hate prevailing torque nuts, but I can understand their use in this application at this torque spec. And these are critical parts, too.
Thank goodness for Autozone.
Safe and happy holidays!

yep, already sold em. We'll see if you can keep up w/ my stock exhaust car next year
BTW, either the muffler to h pipe thread pitch isnt M10x1.50 or the bolts were mislabeled at ace as they didnt fit correctly. The bellhousing bolts do fit though so whatever size those are is the size of the hpipe to muffler bolts.

Oh man thats a direct challenge!! I am not buying sticky tires until I get the 3.90's in with the hardened shaft so maybe just maybe you and your stocker with 4.10's can take me until then....after that though!!
Oh and just because your a better 1/4 mile driver than me isnt going to save you!!

I too am about to replace my 6 exhaust studs. So you're saying that the torque nut is actually a seperate piece?
Any pointers on getting the studs off the car??? I havent tried too hard yet but they seem like they're really stuck on.
I will go with the autozone bolts, GM wants $4.30ish a PIECE for the bolts! ANd I'll buy a ton of seize!
