Hi alxltd1,
If you don't want to extend the wire from the Big 3 fuse block to the battery, you can connect it to the positive terminal on the starter since that wire goes back to the battery. Its best to go battery direct, but connecting to the starter positive should work.
Thanks
Christian

Finally got around to installing my kit last night and I can confirm that this fixed lights dimming on mine. Well worth it in my opinion and great quality cables!

Thanks Brian for your business and letting us know it fixed the dimming lights issue. We have had a few people say that. That's great!

Our Vette just seemed like it ran better with the Big 3 installed.
Could be in our heads or could be the that the extra voltage
really helped. Just saying!

Does this kit have any benifets for a stock 2003 Z06? Some time in the future, I plan on improving the headlights, and will include this kit in my parts choices. I was just wondering if it improves the stock system function. If so, I might move up my plans.
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
It does have benefits. The test Vette in the video is a 02 Z06 with stock electrical system with clean connections. And the Big 3 improved the voltage.

Hi Mattie,
Thank you for your business and the telling us how it improved your lights!

If you are talking about the terminal bolts that you removed to replace with the new ones in the kit, just save them or chuck them, up to you.

These Big 3 upgrades do make a difference. Just ask the owners that put them on their Vettes.

Good stuff!! I've been doing some electrical items and plan on buying this- Question I have a dual terminal battery Odyssey made already. My 98 originally uses the side terminals (I kept the OEM wiring) BUT I am using my top terminals, one to power the stereo, the ground I added bolting to the frame.

Thus, should I get the top terminal or side terminal kit?

I think this in conjunction with a 300 amp DCelectric Alternator I'll be able to weld

Hi Eric,
Sorry I missed your post, would gotten back sooner.
I think you should go with this side terminal setup.
you'll save a few bucks and it will look clean.

Thanks,
Christian
