i just put a set of toyo proxes all around on my 01z. i was going to get bfgoodrich kdw's but the guys at discount tire said they were pretty loud. That wasnt something I was looking for. So i went with the Toyos because of price and word of mouth. I am happy with them. They look good and I didnt have to break my piggy bank open to get them. I guess it just depends on what you want out of the tires and how you are going to use the car.

toyo's here and love them, great wet weather and pretty good at the track too. They are so quiet compared to the goodyears. I too did not like the look of the Firestones.

I've gone through a set of Toyo Proxes T1S's and a set of T1R's. They're very good tires. Sticky, quiet, and fairly good treadlife.

For my new set of wheels, I wanted to try something new, so I opted for the Firehawks. I receive those next week... I'll see how I like them.

I just ordered a set of T1Rs for my 02 z. I am curious as to how well they stick when ur accelerating and how they handle in the rain. with the F1s, sometimes they would spin all the way through 2nd gear. And in the rain,.. well...
