Default Any mpg change in going to Longtube Headers?

Has anyone going to longtube headers, such as LG's, noticed a change in fuel economy under normal driving? At this point, with my Z06 as the most EFFICIENT vehicle in my fleet, I really don't want to effect my bragging rights that it gets 30 mpg on the highway. Any comments? Thanks

No. I have LG Pros, xpipe, B&B bullets, intake, safe tune (12.5 AFR), 387rwhp 377rwtq and still get between 29 - 30.5 MPG pump verified all highway at 65mph.

My mpg's have gotten worse with my mods. It has more to do with my right foot than any of the mods.

YES. your fuel mileage will drop. Because you will love the sound of the LTs, your right foot goes to the floor much more.

Initially I thought it dropped from 28 to 26 in the highway, but it ended up getting back to normal after a couple of weeks. It's probably due to the heavy foot.

If you make your engine more efficient, mpg should theoretically improve...

MPG will improve if you can control your throttle position. Try checking mileage w/cruise control before and after. I can get 35 mpg on flat road at 65 mph! It will typically go down due to small inclines and not recover on the declines since CC is speed dependent and not throttle position/load dependent. Too bad.
