[Z06] More Power

or you could get yourself a nice cold air setup now with that money. It depends on if you plan to do the work yourself or not.... the airbox is pretty easy to install so $500 would more than cover the whole setup. If you plan to do headers but have to pay to have them installed you are gonna be up closer to the $1500 mark depending on brand. Also after headers you are gonna have to get the car tuned....... but this is the one bolt on part that will give you the most HP.

Lots of folks spend $1,500 to $2,000 looking for more power. They usually pick up 35-50 hp or so, which isn't really worth the trouble.
For $500, forget it.
The only real way to get a increase in power that you can feel is to go:
1. head cam package: $4,500+ (100+ hp incr)
2. FI (TT or SC) : $8,000+ (200+ hp)
Conclusion: Do it right or don't do it. Ergo-save your money. Good luck.

the shorties aren't gonna make close to what long tubes are capable of. and while i'm sure a tne would definently make more power, i don't think it would be worth doing just yet with just the shorty headers. i would wait a bit.
and why do you type like that.
