Door sticker reproduction?
When I purchased my 2003 Zo6, the door stickers were removed. I couldn't get it from these guys http://store.corvettemuseum.com/detail.aspx?ID=437
I did get my window sticker and build sheet, but would like to get my door stickers.
Anyone know where to go for this?

The parts manual lists two stickers for the driver's door ....
1) Vehicle Certification
2) Gross Vehicle Weight and Rim/tire size
No part number is listed ... instead it says "Available through your Divisional Zone Office".
Both stickers have your individual VIN printed on them. Call your friendly dealer and see if they can still get them for a C5.
Good luck,

thanks BlackZ. I can't be the only one looking for this replacement, but as I recall, the dealer was unable to get these. I did ask my buddy who is a service writer at the local dealer, and was told they can not get this for me. The next time I'm at the dealer parts dept, I'll hit them up.

I agree, the only reason they shouldn't be there is if the door was replaced or repainted or someone took them off. They would not come off very easily either, would leave some type of mark.

I kinda doubt they would do the tire placard as there is no way they know what tire and rim sizes you have on the car now ... that placard shows what the car left the factory with.
Never hurts to ask the parts guy though.

When I got my left door replaced, the body shop said that GM is not allowed (or will not allow themselves) to reprint the door jamb stickers.
So the only I have now is the one that says "The Legend Lives" or whatever.

I did not think you could even get "The Legend Lives" stickers from GM. I found some on eBay, but I think they were probably from a GM employee that ended up with a few, and decided to sell them.

I checked with a friend who works for GM--you cant get any stickers from the door jam--you could try to get a print shop duplicate the stickers but it is illegal-Not having all stickers is a red flag to the next buyer--good luck

All vin tags can be replaced
Most professional body shops have companies that make replacement door decals. Most of these places will only sell to licensed body shops but a google search will show a few results. ECS Automotive Concepts
636-273-0002 is one such company that replaces lost or damaged door decals.

You might have to be creative and willing to do extra work.

Make your own or have local shop make one.
If i dont have a decal I often make it using word. You can download the correct fonts and they turn out pretty nice. Here is one from a 1979 You can also have a local vehicle wrap shop make them as they can clear laminate them like the original. But Avery makes a great water proof label but when you stick it is stuck so get it right the first time.

I've never had to deal with your type of situation before, but I would suggest calling them and seeing if they can "construct" what needs to be on the stickers from: 1) your build sheet, 2) your RPO code sticker, 3) and perhaps if you can take an image of the needed sticker from a car equivalent to yours.
