Default [PICS] SLAMMED on Pfadt Coilovers

I've wanted a slammed Vette on coilovers since I got my first FRC way back in 2000. Now I finally have it... and I can't leave my condo complex because the speedbumps are higher than my rocker panels! Never fear, I have ECP rocker savers and fat daddy frame savers on the way. After installing which I plan to ski over my speedbumps and make a scene ever day when I leave for work. Until then, doesn't it look pretty?

These T1s are BIG!!!

And a pair of these are coming soon...

I'd like to thank Steve Doten for the great deal on these and awesome job on the install. Everything setup and installed in his driveway in under 5hrs, very impressive. Honest seller and a good guy to have around.

I also want to give shout-outs to the guys at Pfadt for providing awesome customer service by helping Steve out over the phone with factory install specs, and to c4c5specialist for a perfect alignment as always.

On the drive home the ride quality was better than expected and the car exhibited almost zero body roll or brake dive. Only downside is the rear T1 bushings make a lot of noise. A problem I've read about on here before. My mechanic is going to try a special 3M tape wrapped around the bar under the bushing which he thinks will solve the problem.

I'll play with the shock settings and give a more detailed ride & handling analysis once I get those rocker rails and can leave the house.

Just a suggestions as I lived with the same situation for awhile.

Get you car corner weighed.

It helps because it will raise the drivers side up slightly to compensate for your weight.

I did the same with my Pfadts. When they do the corner weights make sure that your sitting in the car.

As the owner of a black Z06 that looks to be closer to brown, and who often regrets getting black, your pictures give me hope that my car may some day be that shiny, lol.

Who wants to donate to the "help carnut pay for a 30+ hour professional detail session for his Z06" fund?

Looks damned good. I'm sure this car is nowhere near as loud as your black frc, but after driving that beast around, I'm sure you have no problem making a scene.

Congrats buddy. Get that bad boy dialed in and let us know how it feels.
