Default [PICS] CCW C14 Wheels in Custom BIG STREET Sizes + Sparco Seats!!!

Wow, it's been a busy couple of weeks for me and my Z06. First, added Pfadt Coilovers and T1 Sway Bars... then this past weekend I installed Sparco Roadster II seats ... then today I installed my new CCW C14 wheels... and now I'm broke.

I have to thank CCW for being phenomenal as always! This was my third set of wheels I've purchased from them. I called Chip exactly 3 weeks ago and explained that I wanted satin black C14s, but wanted to know if he could make them in the same offsets as the famous "Classic Big Street" setup I had on my previous FRC. He said it hadn't been done, but that it shouldn't be a problem. Well, today they showed up, and they are amazing. The fitment was flawless and the satin black finish looks perfect.

Front wheels: 18x10, 275/35/18 Michelin PS2
Rear wheels: 18x11.5, 315/30/18 Michelin PS2

As for the seats, they are amazing. I can actually feel what the chassis is doing for the first time ever. Plus not smashing into the door during 1g turns is a plus too! They are quite comfortable and fit me like a glove. I am about a 32 waist, and I could see these as being a tad tight for anybody over a 36. Thanks to Arizen Racing (non forum vendor, so PM me for details about them) for the brackets to mount these seats on the factory power rails. They worked great. Also, big thanks to FLATOUT, his post with step-by-step install pics was INVALUABLE to me and saved me many hours and headaches I'm sure.

This completes "Stage 1 - Grip & Handling" of my modding plans. Next spring I begin "Stage 2 - Braking" and "Stage 3 - N/A Power Upgrades" ... stay tuned.

ONTO THE PICS!!!

This is why they call it BIG STREET!!!

Looks incredible. I would have thought the rims/tires would stick out more due to width?

Got the seats for $535 ea. Do a product search on Google and you should be able to find some good deals. They are no longer produced, but lots of places still have some in stock thankfully. The brackets were $230.

CCW has mastered this offset with their Classic series wheels and can squeeze the big meats in there just perfect. The mini-tub or fender flares just weren't worth it for me to get an extra 20mm of tire. The 315s are perfect.

How well does the A/H, ABS & TC function with front tires that are ~.4 taller than stock, and rear tires that are ~.6 shorter than stock?

No issues at all. I ran these same sizes on my old car for a few months and didn't have an issue. Also, CCW has been making the Classics in these sizes for a while and it's been proven to not cause problems.

Maybe just slightly, an inch at most. I'm 6'2" and still have head room.
