Will this tire Size fit the stock rear wheel
well i am looking into getting some allseasons for the Z06. and i would like to the Pirelli nero but the only sizes they have any where close to the stock rear wheels size is 275/35R18 or the 275/40R18. do you guys think these will fit? if not what allseasons are you running so that you can survive in some snow.

I have been through this same dilemma. I will using my car all winter. I actually ended up buying some standard C5 thin spoke rims for my tires. Don't go with all seasons if you will be seeing some snow because it is more of a three season tire, not winter. You can buy some winter tires that are made for "sportier cars". I am going with a 225/50/17 and a 245/45/18 on stock c5 rims. You can stretch a tire about 1/2 inch wider on a rim than it calls for.

A brave man! A vette in Syracuse winter. I was thinking about putting some winter tires on mine (Philly area) but figured a crappy $1,000 car I don't care about balling up would be more fun in the snow.

yeah i would buy a car for a grand if i didn't drive 50miles a day to school and work. I need something reliable. so i am was looking into buying some 17" C6 silver 5 spokes with some Billizaks
