Default Predator or custom tune?

I am planning on getting a custom tune with HP tuners on my car next week. But I saw where you can buy a predator for 300.00 new. I have searched and seen both positive and negative comments and results on the predator. What would you guys suggest? Custom tune with HP tuners or predator tuner? My Z06 is stock with the zip tie mod. Thanks.

You must be bored. You've been around long enough to know the answer to that question.

I would get a custom tune. Unless you are going to tweak fuel trims and play with it yourself, then just have a good tuner do a custom job. Good tuners will re-tune you for a smaller fee when you start modding more. And you will.

I'd let it go all together until you do more mods

I just saw the predator drop in price substantially and I gave it a thought, but I am going to take the car in for the custom tune next week.

Custom is always the way to go but with little to no mods I would opt for saving the 3 bones and putting them into mods that will get you closer. Either way adding speed never hurts. Ciao
