Default Rear Fascia painted..when can I pull it off?

Just finished painting the rear lower fascia..I know the label says it dries in 10 minutes..I put about 5 coats on...but how soon can I pull off the tape/plastic..Im worried the paint on the tape will be gooey if its not completely dry...Thanks..Paully.

You'll be fine. I usually pull it off as soon as I get done spraying. As long as you used paint tape you have nothing to worry about.

You should be fine. If you want to make sure then let it set up overnight but again, I think you're fine.

i was always told pull it off when the paint is still we so you get a crisp edge as opposed to letting the paint dry it can be a "cracked" edge. But i dont know if that applys with spray paint.

I have had a lot of problems with leaving the tape on while the paint dries. I have never gotten a clean edge that way.

The key is to get the tape off before it becomes tacky. You can pull strings of paint across your masked areas if your timing is off.

In the past I have started removing tape as soon as the last coat is applied.
