hmm i thought the ls2 chain was a direct replacement and was to be used with our ls1/ls6 gears.....reason i asked is cuz your timing gear looks different than the ls6
out comes the 236 238 601 605 113+2 XER comp
in goes the 236 244 618 621 111+3 LSL Comp

ya its a pat g grind....i wouldnt be unhappy with those numbers....thats easy 470rwhp with a good set of heads....470 rwhp with a low 230s cam is stout...plus you said it was street tuned...how do you know if timing was optimal on the dyno?
look at this pic.....look what 2 degrees of timing does

I had it tuned on the street b/c we didnt have access to a dyno. Plus with the vararam, the airflow on the street vs the dyno is soooo much different. I plan on getting on a dyno with my laptop and hpt to see if I can get things moving a little better

Billy looked like a little kid at christmas morning when we fired it up. I'm very pleased with the way this install went. We'll get the rest of the exhaust on tomorrow afternoon and get video of the car.
