Default Blackwing intake newbie question.

Just bought zo6 miami's 02 eb z06. The car is frugn sweet and I dont even have it yet. It already has a carbon fiber blackwing intake on it. How good is this intake? It looks sweet in the pics but how does it compare to others? It looks like it sucks the air on from the engone where the vararam takes it in from outside. Opinions? The car dynoed 376 with just the intake

It's just a filter, I would step up and get the vararam.

But the piece that is carbon fiber is also aftermarket right? That is not part of the backwing intake?

If you're going to be taking your car to the drag strip often, the vararam might be worth it. If not, just keep the blackwing.

The Vararam won't show much increase on the dyno, but really proves itself at the drag strip. However, the quality of the vararam isn't good and it's a b*tch to install!
