I found a site that tells you how many Z06's were produced each year, how many in each color, etc. How do you find out what number you are out of how many in the exact color code? Ie #? out of 5773 (2001 millenium yellow). Thanks in advance

Open the driver's door.
Look on the large sticker (the lowest one) and you'll see the month and year (mm/yy)

Thanks, but I found a site similiar to the one you guys posted. I am looking to find exactly what number my car is out of 5773. For example, my 03 Cobra is # 1773 out of 3893 red fire convertibles. The last 5 numbers of my Z's vin just gives me a general number out of all 2001 corvettes made, nothing specific. Does that make sense?

I know what you're getting at. I used to have a 2002 Firehawk that was build number 608 out of 1501.

Unfortunately the Zo6 wasn't made in sequence with the vin.... and to date there isn't a list by vin number what cars are Zo6s. The cars were scattered in production along with the base C5s.

I wish I knew the first day/month of 2001 Zo6 production at his point. Google hasn't turned anything up yet.

June 23rd 2000 was the 1st production date and June 21st 2001 was the last date of 2001 M/Y production. The last 6 digits of your VIN # will give you a decent approximation. My Z06 was June 18th 2001. This link will answer your questionshttp://www.c5registry.com/membersonl...2001c5prod.htm

You VIN number tells you your make , model , engine, ect and the last six (6) digits are your specific car's production number. My last six (6) digits are 134934 which tells me that my Z was on produced on June 18th 2001 (134982 was the last VIN number on 6/18/01).http://www.c5registry.com/membersonl...2001c5prod.htm

Can you post the numbers for 2003? I'm curious about the Z06's and how many were yellow and when they started and stopped the 03 model year. Mine was produced in March 03.
