Default Shock Question 2002-2004

Are the shocks identical on the 2002, 2003, & 2004 Z06's??

Front: 10339944 AKW
Rear: 10339945 AKX

Thanks

04Z's are different front and rear

BTW, 01's fronts are the same as 02-03, but rear is different.

So:
01-03 same fronts
01 rears unique
02-03 same rears
04 unique front and rear

Here is a good overall discussion of the C5Z

Buy coilovers You can get Callaway/Eibach R2 Pro street/track for 1500 bucks from Tire rack. Awesome shocks with remote reservoir.

Are my part numbers correct? I saw 2004 shocks for sale on the forum and they had the part numbers I listed--therefore I must be wrong. What are the right numbers?
Thanks

You may want to hit up Gene Culley (GM Parts House) if your in the market for stock shocks. The '04's are pricey, so most go with the '09 shocks as they are a direct bolt on.

Are these the correct numbers for the shocks:
front ac delco 580-122 GM 22064825
rear ac delco 560-200 GM 10431991

Why are the front shocks so expensive?

you should be able to find a set of 04 Z06 shocks for under $500. I got a hit on the first page of google results - not going to link, don't think it's a forum vendor.

The popular thing to do, I'll probably end up doing it myself as well, seems to be going with the C6 Z06 shocks. Gene does advertise a set of 4 for less than $300, IIRC.
