That takes a real set of stones to run a Z06 with those plates!
Back on topic.... the best looking all-black wheels I've seen is a member's coupe (black) with C6Z "Spider" wheels. IIRC, they also have a red pinstripe. Amazing looking IMHO. Back off topic....please, Hogfish, lower that Z.

$50 a rim for powder coat. The plate gets alot of attention but never really had an issue. Most of the police either laugh or give me the thumbs up when they go by. I respect the law and it's just a joke. I've found for the most part Cops like vettes...

It cost me about $500 to do the wheels. I had them powder coated black with a matte clear.
I would lower it but I already scrape enough around Austin that it's not worth it to me.

Mine will be getting powder coated tomorrow. Getting window tint today, and I'll also be lowering it on the stock bolts while the wheels are off. A shifter, a set of Corbeaus, and a 2-DIN stereo install are also in the works. Then probably a tune. Silver with black wheels is the best.

What did you guys do to the lug bolt covers and the center caps? Just rough'em up and use spray paint? That's my plan.....also planning to go over the center cap emblems with a small brush and some red paint.

For my center caps I used a green scotch bright pad to sand them a little before painting with the satin black touch up paint the powder coated sold for $10 a can. For the lug nuts, Pep Boys sells the black ones, however, if you take your stock ones in your powder coater will probably do them for you pretty cheaply. Mine said he would have done them for no additional charge.
