Default New to Board. Previous Ferrari TR owner.

Hey guys- Had an 89 Testarossa which was 95% looks and 5% performance. It was very slow 0-60 and was nothing but problems over the past 2.5 years and I just sold it yesterday. I'm in the market for a real sports car, the Z06. I'm looking for a 2002 either silver or black. Do you guys have any recommendations/advice for me. Thanks.

How about Go for it!!! It does not draw the same looks as a Ferrari, but it makes up for it in pure excitement!!

Congrats on relieving your maintenance headache. Now it's time to move forward and grab onto a Z06 ... you'll enjoy every mile with a smile once you're an owner.:yesnod:

Can't believe one of our supporting dealers hasn't jumped all over this post. They will by the end of the day I'm sure. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Bought mine through Vettenet and it was a great deal. Good luck and keep us posted on what you get.

slufoot2000,

A new friend I met a couple months ago sold his 328, a real hanger queen in his opinion, and got a new silver ZO6. Absolutely no regrets and loves to drive it often.

Personally, I would miss the gorgeous interior of the Ferrari, but even the exhaust of the Z reminds me a bit of an 8 cylinder Ferrari.

May I suggest blue?

And may I add that it runs

I was very pleased with it stock. When I started the engine in the parking lot of the dealership I realized I had a racecar. I'm pretty sure you will be satisfied with this monster stock. I was satisfied for about 24 hours but you know how addicts are.......more more more power please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look for me in your left lane. I'm the blue blur.

Welcome! If you are going to drive it a ton and don't feel like washing it all the time, I'd opt for the silver, but either color ROCKS!
