Catch cans are not model specific parts

Just follow the link in post 1

Shipping is flat rate in the US, $10.98

Thanks for the reply Chip.
Which color do you have in-stock?
Is it better to buy the Braided Hose, clamps and fittings with catch can?

Sam,

I have Red, Black, Silver, Chrome and Black Chrome in stock.

The can comes with rubber hose and brass fittings, bracket and bolt,
which is everything you need for an install.

The braided hose, chrome fittings and hose clamps are all cosmetic,
but they make for a very nice looking installation.

Peace
Chip

If you want a can, braided hose, chrome fittings, and chrome hose clamps, it is $197.92

If you want the can, rubber hose and brass fittings it is $131.98

Both prices are shipped in the US

Peace

A band saw with a fine tooth blade works best.

If not, a hacksaw with a fine blade works well.

First wrap the area with electrical tape, and cut in the center.

Hi,

I saw your installation instruction:
http://www.customcorvetteaccessories...lcatchcan.html
and I have a 2002 Z06. Do I need to reuse the PCV Valve or can install it like a 2003 model? I ordered the braided hose and Iīm wondering how I could reuse it and what the function would be?

Please let me know, thanks Rouven.

Yes, you will need to reuse the PCV valve. The later models have them in the valley pan...

You can splice the PCV valve into the braided line. You will need 2 3/8
hose clamps.

Hey Chip,

can you explain me the function of the PVC valve and what would happen if I donīt reuse it? Somehow it looks really ugly ;-)

The PCV valve is a one way check valve. it lets air out of your
crank case, and keeps air from going into the crank case.

If the valve is not there, you can pop you dip stick at the block, letting
the oil flow out.

Worse, if pressure is great enough, you can crack your block.

It is a needed part

Peace
Chip
