I bought a black c5 z06 with black rims and tint in august. I didn't really like the rims then. I am a Crome guy myself. But they have grown on me and I have embraced them. All the complements I get also helped. But I have incorporated red accents like red corvette lettering in the back. Red LED taillights, and coming soon red stripes. The accents really set it off nice!

Black is the way to go. Chrome looks too blingy to me. I've gotten a lot of complements on my car with black wheels and a dark tint.

I like black with machined or polished lip [ I have silver with machined lip ] , but to me, all black wheel look like snow tires

none of the above, not chrome, or black, or polished (almost chrome), but painted and machined,.

Shows off some wheel, with out the bling factor of chrome and polished

If you think chrome trim and wheels are in style on your modern sports car, you probably haven't seen a Ferrari, Porsche, or Lambo in the last 25 years and probably think your mustache and jort still looks cool.

I have had chrome wheels on all my past vettes, 8 of them, but I decided to go with black this time. Who knows, I may go back to chrome one day but for now, I'm rock'en the black wheels!
