Pulled it out of the garage and let it run for a while. Then put the cover back on it, closed the door, and cried a little. I hate chicago winters.

Yesterday, I had new tires (Bridgestone RE760's) installed to replace the 12 year old original tires still on the car, had the LMC5 column lock bypass kit installed, and changed the oil and oil filter, as well as the air filter.

I installed a set about a month ago swapped from DW's, there much quieter and ride better imo, the DW's did handle better but not much, they was a touch quicker in responsiveness in turns compared to the RE760's but i'm very pleased with them over all they still handle good.

We all know this kind of hacked modding is unexcusable to a Corvette so that's why said the OE ti's come with the car when I buy it. There was so much vibration getting used to the short throw gets frustrating. Today not so much sorry for the long post away from home and happy I picked up this silver beauty!
Mine had straight pipes when I bought it too... I drove it straight to another member's place to install the OEM titanium muffs, and the 5+ hour drive was one hell of a headache. I wore earplugs the whole way. The titanium mufflers sound amazing behind the Kooks longtubes and X-pipe

Installed an Optima Red Top to replace the 6+ year old battery that was in the car when I bought it last week.

/\ sounds like a real corvette now... I test fit my valve covers, still have a long way to go but it seems to be shaping up nicely... this pic sucks, I think it looks way better in person

Looks great... you should paint the intake manifold to match them

thanks guys, I really appreciate it... I did consider painting the intake as well and that is still a viable option, I guess it just depends how much I can have it done for... I'd really like to have the vacuum ports shaved and filled in as I'm not using any of them and then painted but that just means more $$ and the plan was to start building a new motor after I get the car going again... most of the appearance stuff will port over to the new motor but the intake won't, decisions decisions
