Not difficult to install headers, biggest problem (especially on a vette) is getting good access and room to work w/ - even getting it up on blocks is tough. I have not installed headers on my Z, but did install them on my old '04 GTO. I installed a new MGW on my Z and I would say that shifter install is more complicated than throwing on headers.

Wish every home garage came w/ a lift!

I have installed headers on a couple of my Fbod's.. 1 in my driveway, 1 on one of my friends lifts... The driveway install took twice the time as the lift.... 4 hrs start to finish on lift... Pretty straight forward... C5Z... not so much...

Default New Sensor

Had to have a new crank shaft sensor installed. Died on me the other day on the way home from work. Back to running sweet again.

Alky Control Dual Nozzle kit install completed. Took car to Bret (BlownBlue) in the Dallas area for tune and final touch ups on install. Absolutely an excellent experience with fantastic results. Went from a 3.8" pulley to a 3.6" on the supercharger. Now ready to devour some Mustangs
Bret is a top notch guy who really knows his stuff.

We all know the stock corvette seats are lacking, right up until 2012. I really love the look of the Evo 9 SE/MR seats with the alcantara centers and leather bolsters. I finally found a set semi local out of a wrecked Evo 9 with 10k miles. There is virtually no wear on any of the seats and the only flaw is a small rip on the passengers leather right near the slider which I patched up and is barely noticeable. That seat was twisted a bit from the accident, so I got an evo 8/9 seat frame off ebay (its the same frame, different covers) and swapped the foam and leather over to that one. I spent far less then I would have for the leather A4's. For those wondering, the only difference between the SE and MR seats is the stitching is red (also somewhat rarer from what I can tell). The seats bolted right up to a set of Planted Seat brackets I got off ebay. They sit lower then stock...I think Im going to add a piece of 1" square bar between the sliders and the seat brackets. As they are right now it is difficult to get to the adjuster for the seat. They fit TIGHT, but they do fit. This was certainly a project with a lot of research, but I am very happy with the end result...they look like they belong in the car! Loads better then stock, I can push the car much harder then ever before. Feels like a completely new car...enjoy!
