Finally installed the hurst shifter i picked up a couple of months back, replaced the ignition switch, changed the plugs/wires, and swapped the red top for a yellow top.

I should have done plugs/wires when I bought the car; it's riding like a completely different animal.

Had the motor out to do the clutch along with the trans to swap to an rpm and found these bonus parts in the oil pan. Now debating forged rods and pistons, heads are definitely going to AI for porting. Pretty sure the parts are valve stem seals and valve seat.

I bought new rotor rings for my brakes (for Christmas). The old ones had been worn over 1mm and the slots were almost worn off of the rotors.

Had to slam on the brakes at tripple speeds to avoid someone who moved into my lane without a turn signal and I flat spotted a rear tire. Time for new tires. Thinking about the NTO5's.

I like those. Luckily you were able to avoid an accident. Good luck on the tire search. Ebay has deals from time to time.

Default It wasn't exactly today, but...

I have a garage with room for 3 cars, but is fitted with 2-10' doors. for the last several weeks in preparation for winter I rearranged the mess to find room to store my Z for the season. Still need to get a battery tender and roll it up on some carpet pieces. I have a cover but there are a few projects (mainly repairs) I want to do.

I used those hydraulic wheel dollies to move it into place. Worked very well; did it by myself.

I ordered a bunch of new parts for my Z

Corvette Envy Modified tails
Hinson Engine and trans mounts
H3r Fire Extinguisher
Brey Krause Bracket
Kooks full 3 inch axle back (takes 5 weeks to make FYI) ordered about 2 weeks ago....

Now the waiting game for parts to come in so I can start installing. It is going to be a good new year!
