And you have LTs, correct? Did you do it with the car on jackstands, or did you have a lift? And great tip on clipping (i assume you mean to leave that U shape as in the picture) the gaskets to prevent the need to drop the headers completely... that was the part I was not looking forward to!

yes long tubes, car was on the ground just popped open the hood, yes the u shape for the 1st and last bolt really makes it much easier

if you one person and have to take out all the bolts i found when trying to get the header back on i fight to get one of the center bolts in 1st then work from there with a bunch of cuss words its still not all that bad though, two people its much easier one under the car pushing the header up

from what I understand the original et street, et street 2, and et street s/s all have the same r2 compound... aside from tread pattern differences they should all perform about the same, so if you like the et streets you have then you should like these as well... the original and street 2 have been discontinued and if you can find them the prices are pretty steep

while I do agree with you it still isn't fun, but you forget about the money thing as soon as you drive the car

Its a Product Engineering 4600 that I'm going to try some different things with. May put the 2nd stage of the pump up near the regulator in the fender area if I end up using it. This pump is physically huge.

There will be an intank pump, and the external(s) will be on a Hobbs.
It's going to be really tight trying to fit the Y and check valve all in this rear quarter.

Detailed the engine bay. The before picture youre seeing was after I degreased and washed it, the after was with Songs Trim and Motor Kote. Usually I use 303, but wanted to try something different. Came out great although there is a bit of a learning curve. This really gets all the places your normally can't reach with a rag as you spray it on and let it dry. I love the gloss it gave to my hoses and other components.

are you running the lines through the rocker or tunnel area?... either way you could put the check valve, post pump filter, and "y" (or even a fuel log) somewhere near the front that way there isn't as much clutter in the rear quarter

^^^ Come do my engine bay please!

I installed XS Power long tubes this morning. A breeze with a lift and air tools (took approx. 2 hours) fitment is great, can't wait to finalize the tune.

had to replace the passenger side window regulator, didnt mind doing it cost for new regulator $196 but the replacement has different plug type that is NOT included you have to buy it separate and it $28 more!

finally got mine dynoed after getting the new drivetrain back in and a retune... I just noticed they let off early and didn't take it all the way up so it had a little more in it but I'm not complaining, it did ok... also tore up the tollways over the weekend with my buddy in his ls3 swapped c10, that was a lot of fun

can you not cut the plug end off the original harness and solder it to the new harness?
