Almost
I did drop a valve a year ago and few months later purchased an LS7 from a guy on this forum from KY. Had it installed, right away we were seeing slight issues but we were still thinking maybe nothing major. At that point the season was over and I was busy with a few other things and a health issue so I didn't have the time, energy or patience to deal with it. After driving the car 200 miles I parked it.
Meanwhile I decided I want to build a house and selling the car would help out. Still thinking no big issue with the car since the seller guaranteed me the engine was 100%, we were thinking either bad valve seals or a bad PCV, I listed the car for sale and found a buyer. Buyer was made aware of what was needed to be fixed and the issue we're seeing.
Had the car trailered to the shop last month, after ruling out that valve seals and PCV are OK, we found that the cylinder 6 sleeve is bad. At this point the seller of the LS7 is telling me that I've been using the car for 8 months and its my problem. I immediately let the potential buyer know and delisted the car from the for sale section.
At this point the car is getting a brand new LS7 block, bearings, rings, etc.
I'm keeping the car.
