Default Got a new Stubby Antenna and it's sweet

Alrighty fellas, it took a few months to locate a stubby antenna I was pleased with. Nothing against Forum vendor BitViper who sells a shorty that numerous members have purchased and are happy with. It just wasn't what I was looking for.

Here are a few pics and if you want to watch an install vid go here

Anywho the details. It's all aluminum so it's got a nice hefty feel to it and is 4" tall. The folks who make it were kind enough to tap the threaded hole a bit deeper to fit my Z06. If you guys are interested just give these people a call and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to hook up.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. Oh and Moderators please if something is out of place or I didn't follow a rule, please let me know so I can correct it rather than delete the thread, thanks.

yes it picks up all my local stations without a noticeable drop in reception. Check out cravenspeed . com and it's the CRMC antenna listed in their drop down menu for an Audi TT. You should give them a call because the hole it has is a little shallow, but they were nice enough to drill it just a bit to fit my 'Vette.

I've since emailed them with pics and let them know about the numerous posts on this forum, so hopefully they'll make a few to fit and list it on their site.

I ordered from Craven Speed this weekend, the first one I've seen that I liked.

Got mine from a vendor here over a year ago, works great and looks good. That Craven Speed one looks like a modified S2000 Antenna.

You know what's funny? I got things rolling for CravenSpeed and the C5, and I'm not gonna lie I was a little disappointed they didn't use any of my pics I sent them. But I just looked again and they have my video up, so that's coo l

Anywho I'm glad to see people getting these and finding a shorty they like.

I have one like that one, works great and I live outside of town a ways..

You guys might want to check how tight the antenna is, just last weekend while I was backing down the drive to the garage out back, I could see daylight between the stud and antenna, it was completely loose and just sitting on the stud, how it got loose I don’t have a clue just glad I did not lose it..

I live a few miles (< 5 as the crow flies) from most of the broadcast towers so reception isn't an issue.

Actually, it's just a vacuum cap that I put over the stud when I put the cover on the car for the winter so that it wouldn't tear the cover.

I just ordered one of these. What a great price plus they don't rip you off trying to make money on shipping!
