Default Wife out on the track

Thought I'd share some photo's....wife out at Barber Motorsports Park running in the Advanced Solo group during the BMW CCA HPDE event over Memorial Day weekend.

Current mod list (just basic boring stuff):
18x10.5 speedlines with Nitto NT01 315/30's squared
Stop Tech brake pads
Motul 660 brake fluid
Blackwing Intake
Cobra Suzuka Pro GT seats
Schroth 6 pt harnesses
Brey Krause Harness bar
Track Alignment
Lowered on aftermarket bolts
T1 Sway bars
B&M short shifter

And a vid of her running down one of our friends with a GT3

Thanks for looking

Handles great.....and even greater since I put on the T1 sway bars. The car isn't "slammed" if that's what your thinking. The front bolts are 6 turns from the lowest, and the rear bolts are 15 turns from the lowest. Plenty of suspension travel on my '04 z. The track tires are a 30 series front and rear, so I think this is making it lower....it isn't that low with the OE tire sizes

Man, that looks like fun. I'm gonna have to hit a track. Is that your car or hers?

Just curious, but did you track it before you lowered it that much? I used to have mine that low as well and thought it handled awesome but finally raised it up 3/4 of an inch or so and it rode so much better and the handling wasn't sacrificed. My bolts were close to maxed out and the suspension just had no travel.

The video is awesome of you're wife. I think it would be cool to find someone to share the hobby with.

Yep! Not mounted yet, but they're sitting in my garage. Hopefully I'll have time Friday to get them mounted. I'll send you some pics

Actually yes.....tracked it at the stock ride height and also lowered completely on stock bolts. It handled better lowered on stock bolts than at the factory ride height......but handles better lowered on aftermarket bolts as it currently sits than it did maxed out on factory bolts. Also, it is far from being maxed out on the aftermarket bolts. When I first got the aftermarket bolts, I had them maxed out and it did handle horribly, and was way too low.....which is why I raised it 6 turns in the front and 15 in the rear.

Looks fantastic! Hopefully this weekend I pickup another set of stock z06 wheels and start running a squared set-up very soon.

Thanks everyone!

Your Camaro was bad ***......so fast out there! Are you coming to PCA at Barber in a couple of weeks? We'll be there. Stop by and say hello. We usually set-up on the 3rd tier
