Going to vinyl wrap my '03 z06.....
Picked up an '03 z06 with 6K miles. I installed the blackwing filter and B&B bullets. Runs like a bat outta hell!
I'm going to wrap it in satin white pearl with the top gloss black.
It will look something like this. Click on the link below for more pictures.

Satin White Pearl 3m wrap supercharged Z06 with L5 rears...I did it about three months ago... That pic you have OP is balloon white pearl paint...definitely a different shade. I'm not a fan of doing the halo on these cars, but...to each his own. You might notice...since my car is black, I cut the side vents a little different...it creates the effect of them being larger. Also, the brake ducts in the front, I cut at the opening, versus wrapping back inside...looks cleaner I think. Little tricks you can do with it...all fun stuff.
I didn't use any adhesion promoter because I don't like the removal of it. I have had some light failure underneath where I had road rash. I've been caught in the rain a few times which got to the underside. Overall, the stuff holds up fantastic. I wrapped my friends car two years ago and it still looks great. 3m guarantees the wrap in direct sunlight for 4-5yrs and removal with no residue. No wrap installer is going to warranty the entire process...failures do occur. Generally they will help you with little fixes, but if you expect a whole panel to be rewrapped if an edge comes up...I don't know a guy that'll do the whole panel again. I can vouch for labor intensive...that's an understatement. My vette wasn't bad at all...but the BMW I just finished...whew...tons of trim, stuff that needed removed...took forever.
I started wrapping just to supplement what I do as a builder. I ended up doing quite a few lately though... I just finished my girls bimmer. H&R suspension, plastidipped wheels, kidney grills and trim, CSL front bumper, matte metallic blue 3m. Pics below...

2500 is cheap....
Most places charge 4500.00 for wrap...minimum. I'd question if the shop has liability insurance first...that's all I'm saying. 2500.00 is way below market value for that job. They either have mexican labor or don't pay full overhead....or pump out a sh*t ton of wraps and have a couple of work horses.
On a side note though, mine cost less than 400.00 to wrap...

On a coupe, however, I think it looks quite good to black out the halo; with the tinted glass and whatnot, you end up with a very clean cutoff reminiscent of the ZR1.
