I've researched that one for the last 7 weeks, and NO. The C6 has the option for doing it, but the C6 doesnt provide codes on the DIC.

I got to step in here. I know several C6Z LS7 owners who do not baby their engines, and they never had an issue with a dropped valve. I just bent a valve(s) on my LT4/383....I reved it passed 7,200 RPMS. Over-revving or missing a shift may cause damage to any engine. Most of these LS7 owners are weekend warriors.
