Default Has anyone ever climbed out the trunk?

I have to put my car on a uhaul trailer to take it down to TX2K14. I am worried I won't be able to get out through the door. Has anyone successfully climbed in/out of the trunk of their C5Z ever? I'm pretty small (165 lbs) but Im wondering if a window valet might be a better purchase.

Sounds like something that's worth a dry run.

Hey Milan, i did twice. Was working in borrowed narrowed single garage and stuff was on both sides i had no choice had to get out so upto the trunk and i was out, not easy but i am even smaller than you 145 lbs, being a mechanic and work on cars all day long bending running, working interiors....tight spaces....hey i am experienced and take advantage of my slim athletic type body.

Once in trunk, just creep, as you reach seats just roll out easy, however i never climbed on the trunk though and reach door.

Donk ask Arun the muscle man, he jealous of my weight.

the uhaul trailers have a fold down driver side fender- never tried it with a Z but it's gotta be fine as a buddy of mine just loaded his last weekend on one and he wouldn't fit out the back. 165lb though? god, I weighed that in middle school.

I got a used Window Valet for rolling the windows back up after loading the car on the trailer and then climbing out the window. I'm a little bigger than you guys and wouldn't fit out the back, especially with a partition in place.

That's the only way I could figure out how to bring it home in the Uhaul trailer. Worked fine and my son had some fun taking compromising pictures of my climbing into and out of the car.

I'm 5'11 170 pounds and I've climbed out of the trunk many times, it's actually quite spacious for someone my size

Well I did a test run and it was actually pretty easy to get in and out. Can't wait to see the looks I get!

Yes, I've done it. Toss up between doing that or unbolting the trailer fender.

I've had to put a 6ft tall blond girl in the back of my C5 Z06 once.
Good times...

I did it when I crammed my Z06 in the garage next to my truck and all my junk when I took 2 weeks of leave. I couldn't even climb out the window. I had to turn the key 3 times to pop the trunk from the back of my truck to get back in.
