Default 4 Wheel Alignment?

My 2003 Z06 needs a wheel alignment due to a curb incident. Do you think it would need a 4 wheel alignment or could I get buy with just doing the front? Also, are the Z06 alignment specs different from the regular C5's?

All I can say is after I removed my steering rack from a cam change I had a 4 wheel alignment done and the handling improvement was incredible. I had it done at my local Corvette shop and they did a track alignment. He said it just pull a little more of the tire on the ground than the stock specs. All I know is that I love it.

Yea, but aren't track specs better for the track and not so good for everyday normal driving. Seems like you'll wear out the tires sooner on the street, unless you use it at the track a lot.

If I wear out my tires before they die of age I'll be thrilled.

When doing an alignment, all 4 heads are put on the car. So, it's the same procedure no matter what. The thrust line is determined by the rear and the front and steering wheel is set to that. It's no difference in setting the alignment up. Just about 5 minutes quicker to skip the rear.

So waste of time and money to not do it.

Signed - the alignment guy.
