Default Ticking revolution sound from passenger front wheel

Car is an 01' Z06 with 28k miles on the clock. The passengar front wheel has a ticking sound only when the wheel is turned. From what I can tell it does it either way you turn the wheel. My first guess was the bogart center cap. I removed the wheel, repositioned, then torqued back down. The sound went away for a few miles, then started back put its much quieter now. Is a wheel bearing a possibility or are the miles too low? Or is it the cap? How do I fix this? Thanks

Try it with the cap off and see if the noise goes away.

Had the same exact problem and only happened when I was turning. I was told to make sure I wasn't over/under torqued. I torqued the lugs to 100lb/ft and the noise has not came back. Hope you figure it out. It drove me nuts when it was happening to me.

I know you meant 100 lb/ft...just wanted to clarify so OP doesn't watch his wheel fly off into the weeds!

I removed the wheel and reinstalled at proper torque. The tick is still there but not as loud as before.

This happened when I put 18x10.5 up front. Ended up being the wheel weights hitting the UCA.

HA! Whoops! Thanks for the save! That would've been a bad thing.

Rim, tire, or wheel weight rubbing on ABS wire attach to lower control arm ? Check it for wear from rubbing.

I'll keep searching. Very confusing. Haven't had time to run without the center cap to Eliminate that first
