Technically speaking...
Yes, it's a Nissan event, but it's a fantastic one. Plus it's at the Dragon, and frankly there is a lot of diversity of cars there. There are various events, poker run through the mountain roads, people running the dragon, bands, parties, etc.
It's not all younger demographics either, though I'd say your average guy is in his 30's or late 20's. It's a great time and I'd like to get some Z06's up there this coming year. I will warn you, BOOK NOW at the resort...if there is still even room. There are also local places that are phenomenal...cabins, great food, hospitality as it should be, etc.
Here's the site:

ZDayZ 2015 will be May 14-17, 2015
Here's a vid if you wanna get an idea of what's happening there...

Hahaha...no...I just need Z06 owners who like to actually drive their cars and not drag race apparently..lol. 1 response...lol.
If you've got any inside freebie info/advice I'm all ears. I wasn't able to get into the resort last year...struck me as, if you can't get it there, you're missin out. That's about all I came to realize thus far.

I was just there last week. Drove 700 miles each way to get there! (although not in my Z, Took my 99 coupe) I like staying in Gatlinburg. Lots of stuff to do and lots of places to eat, and the dragon is only an awesome 45 min drive away. Lots of places to stay there too.

I dont understand that either! I dont know why people buy a car meant to handle curves and turn it into a 1/4 miles car. But to each their own. Thats what makes the world go around I guess.

A group of us from Nashville are heading to the dragon Nov 15-16. Its with the Music City S2ki forum, but anyone is invited. I haven't decided if I'm taking the S2k or the Z06.
Always a fun trip. Since I'm going in Nov I prob wouldn't go again in May.

I'm curious, have you lined up a group of guys for zdayz this year? I've been invited by a friend with a 370z, but I have a c6z, so not sure how welcome I'll feel once I get there with an American sports car haha! Thanks!

If you look on Zdayz website, there are some nice cabin and resorts that are affordable, down the road. The one has cabins, serves you all your meals for the day, is near a quiet creek...nice place.
