Well I definitely learned my lesson with that tonight at the track. Im definitely getting that FAST 102MM with that Nick williams 102mm TB....or maybe the LS2 TB sooner than later. I was hoping Id be able to get away with the stock LS6 intake but definitely not. The car feels super light and responsive however, the MS3 cam wasn't loud despite the 112 LSA. Its actually alot quieter than before with the 228R cam. Could it be because theres alot more airflow? I was expecting the car to be shaking and rattling. Anyway, I went 12.0 at 115 this time, so I picked up 2-3 mphs but the stock intake is ultimately limiting power.
What were your mods when you went 12.0@112?
Stock heads and cam? You should have picked up way more than 2-3mph with the cam and heads. Did you retune the car afterwards? Have a wideband in the car? How much timing?
And you're gettin' it done with a 1.6-1.7 short time. Nice work!

No problem! Don't sweat the intake. People have made big power through the stock intake and TB. Sure it could be better, but there's always a little extra left on the table unless you go all out...
Another quick thought - did the heads change the compression ratio? What is the combustion chamber volume? If you lowered the compression it could be hampering your gains a little bit.

I ended up getting the FAST 102 with an LS7/LS3 tB. They're PRC225CC as cast heads with an MS3 cam. Hopefully this tune will fix issue. Im really hoping to go low to mid 11's

I checked the website and it says they come either 68 or 62cc. Hoping you got them with 62cc chambers Should put you around 10.75:1 compression ratio. Stock is about 64cc chambers.
Just keep in mind that pretty much any time you make a mod to the breathing of the engine, either intake or exhaust, you need to re-tune to get the full potential of your upgrades.
You have a 160 thermostat?
Badass intake! After that and a tune you should be looking pretty good. Sucks your home track is at such high of altitude. Make a road trip out to a sea level track and you'll have a LOT of fun!
Jealous you can mod your car like that. I had to keep mine a bit stealthy and emissions friendly. AFR205's, stock cam, 1.85 ratio rockers. c6z exhaust w/ corsa 3" x-pipe, ported TB, and a K&N intake.

Yeah Cali of course. Live in Socal and race at AAA speedway in Fontana. I feel your pain somewhat. It's a heartbreaker of a track. It's at about 1200 feet altitude, uphill, and the baro is always mid to low 28's. DA is 4000+ and it's been humid this year. If I went up to Sonoma or even Bakersfield I'd run at least 2 tenths better. We take our race cars to Vegas which is a real altitude track and the cars run almost the same lol!
I've been 114.5 in the quarter and 92.5 in the 1/8th with slow 60's and some tire spin in really bad weather and a headwind. I was hoping to be able to hit 120 but it'd take a miracle at a sea level track for that to happen I think.
Make sure you only compare yourself to other cars at your track. I felt like **** about my performance until I saw what other cars were doing on the same day. When I went 114.5 an experienced CTV-coupe owner could only trap 109. At our 1/8 mile track when I went 92.5 I was outrunning GT500 mustangs, a ZL1, tuned 5.0's, and another CTS-V...with my stock cam'ed 10 year old car
I'm going to dyno my car soon once I've got the tune where I want it. Interested to see what it does.
