100... seriously... owned the car for over 3 years and never had it digging into triple digits.

114. That was on my first pass at the 1/4. On the street I'll do a lot of wot runs in 1-3 on empty stretches of a certain hwy but then I back off. It's just not worth it to get a ticket or worse for running triple digits on the street these days. I would love it if they had a Texas mile type event in this part of the country. That's the only way I'm ever going to see the top speed of the car.

GPS recorded 161 MPH. This was at the track somewhere out there.

265 kph sounds better than 165 mph--first and the only time!

Best I have seen is a little over 130, and my god did it get there fast. It sucks not having good or straight roads where I live....

Maybe 130 or so. After grabbing 4th and seeing the traction system active light up on the DIC I havent felt the urge to let it rip. I'm a 0-120 kind of guy.

I am really surprised that more of you C5 Z06 owners don't track your cars (or don't appear to). I have run at Daytona, Talladega, and TWS, and if there is enough room the C5 Z06 will run to the limiter in 5th which is 6600rpm. That translates to 177mph with my tires.

I take mine to VIR on occasion. Just don't usually get the chance to wind it out past 4th gear.

Hit 179 at the wilington standing mile with 450whp. I increased the limiter to 7200 to allow that.

When I lived in Connecticut there were a couple of long flat stretches I could wind out the 94 formula I had. Got it to almost 160 a few times. I can only imagine what the Z06 would do there hehehe.

I would like to track mine but am a bit worried about messing it up or wrecking it. If I were to total it tracking it I'm pretty sure my ins co would tell me to pound sand. I'm pretty lucky to be able to have this as a weekend car, if I were to wreck it at the track and it wasn't covered I doubt I could replace it. You appear to be in a better position than most here to afford it. For now I'll run it now and then in the 1/4 and just enjoy it on the street.

150 MPH 1/2 mile run.

She had more, but I had no time to give her more. Ran out of room.

Attended the inaugural HPDE event at NCM MSP, and with Andy Pilgrim behind the wheel of my 03 Z06 with me in the passenger seat, he hit 160 several times. He put on quite a demonstration of what a bone stock Z06 can really do with a true professional behind the wheel. That man can drive a car!!!!! For myself, I have only hit about 112.
