Will these hold up if in direct contact with the the headers? Your pic sure infers that.. Im burning up wires because of my headers..

These will definitely help with problem you are having. The boots are designed to withstand temperatures up to 1200F. We have put these on a lot of car and trucks since our recent release and had nothing but good results and reviews. I wouldn't recommend just letting them lay on the headers for obvious reasons but they will withstand bumping and direct hits as well as the overall radiant heat that the headers will put off. The long and short of it is they will definitely be better than nothing and help prolong the life of your wires.
