Obviously car is putting a fair amount of power down, but I'm very interested in power to weight with what you're doing. Thx!

I think where most of us are struggling to grasp the et/mph is with the stock appearing car and LS6 cubes, magic cam or not. I'm figuring you'd have to be at 2500lbs total with driver and making around 535hp at the wheels as well as getting it to hook. All of those are tough to do, so that's where folks are asking the questions and wondering, hth did he do that?
Read post #12. I may continue to race this car and don't want to give out all details but I will continue to help out people with their setups and give track tips . Feel free to pm me. Thanks

I re-read post 12 and I picked up that the car is light and has non stock valve train. I was not able to ascertain if the stock 243 heads are worked over or what the car weighs. Those really are the only 2 questions in my mind that I'd like to know.

I understand you keeping things close to the vest, but I guess I'm not seeing how answering those 2 questions would give anyone a leg up on ya?

How do you like the mantic clutch?
Twin?
Have you launched it on the drag strip or only road racing?

I don't know, brother, I'm a corner carver, but it seems like a bolt-on 9 would be pretty sweet

Thanks for reading and your expert opinion.

Time and effort...that's what it takes.

Rob took a lot of BS/name calling a few years back for taking a stock bottom ended H/C LS6 in his Z06 to a sub-10 run. Times change and those who put in the time and effort can optimize what they do. And whether you want to believe it or not is your prerogative. As Rob suggested, come out some time to the track. If you don't believe in what his car does and think he is a fraud, put up some money to have the car torn down on the spot...but be prepared to pay up when you find out that he is not lying/cheating.

dont have to .. i live 3 miles from cecil.. I'm there every wed, fri, and sat. where are your time slips?

am I held in some kind of joke with this thread? cam only fast list on every LS website imaginable dont even come close. highest HP for cam only is in the 450 rwhp range.. you'd have to cut 12-1300 lbs with 450 hp to be in that wheelhouse

He actually went faster than 9.8 to win this. And, they did check the motor and the rest of the car out.

Well you're invited next time we go or have a rental.
Of course you don't have to esp. if you know it all but maybe you can learn something with your setup by hanging with racers that have the same vehicle.
Or stop in to MIR World Cup since you seem to be an avid racer/fan. Always best to keep an open mind, that's how you learn the most esp. if you plan on modifying your 03z.
