Default Just reserved my set of DRM Bilsteins.

Well they started taking orders for V7.0 and I had to jump on it. I currently have a new set of C6 Z06 shocks on my 02 Z and while the fronts feel good, the rears need more rebound valving and a little less compression IMO. What could I expect from the DRM bilsteins? Firmer all around? Still decent on choppy Northeast coal country roads? I'm excited and a little anxious at the same time. Any input would be appreciated.

Your needs will be answered. All fours corners are tighter and forgiving when the surface becomes choppy. I found the rear stays planted when your digging into and out of a turn under power. Very smooth & precise steering inputs are required at speed as well. I was also starting to experience a little wheel hop under hard acceleration with TC on. That has been resolved as well. At first I thought that TC was kicking in. Well it was, and the other shocks weren't up to the task. There is also a nicer ride when the road is smooth.

Time to hit twisties.

They didn't return any of my calls, or respond to my questions in posts.
They can go pound sand as far as I'm concerned!
Crappy customer service.

I'll buy my stuff from LG, at least I can talk to them......

That is exactly opposite of my experiences with them.

I thought it was weird. But I called the number in Randy's sig and left multiple messages, as did my brother and neither of us ever received a return call.

Questions in posts were ignored as well, perhaps we are invisible somehow.

No worries, it happens, I'll just spend my cash elsewhere.

I would try emailing them, they responded pretty quickly to me.

Rookieracer,
I'm sorry that we didn't connect. I don't know what happened but I do try to get back to everyone. But being human I'm not perfect or do things at 100 percent all the time.

Pounding sand now

You will be happy, hundreds of shocks sold and everyone seems to be happy with the performance and ride

Thanks for the replies, I'm really looking forward to getting them. Hopefully they will hold off on salting the roads till I get them on.

And for the record, I got an email response within 12 hours of emailing an inquiry about the next group purchase from DRM.

I emailed DRM three times concerning my order. The rule is to receive a response within 48 business hours, and I always received a timely response. I hope you are not assuming a response because he is on-line or because it is 9:00AM. We are not the only customers.

Same here

As of the product, I like the way the Z06 is handling. It handled great with the stock shocks, they were in great condition, but obviously this is an upgrade.

I ordered a set of V7's as well. Sent Randy a message as an FYI that I ordered a set.

I am really looking forward to putting them on to Z. Have been thinking about coil overs and almost bought a set. I don't want to make whole sail changes and end up with a harsh ride. Hoping this will be the solution for a better handle, better ride and an end to the jumpy bump feel.

I have been nothing but pleased with my DRM shocks. Especially for the price compared to other shocks.

Not a "daily driver", I have a work car, but it will be on the street as much as possible (outside of salt season).

Just curious, do you think a performance shock will make ride quality that bad?
