sometimes it takes an hr! Sometimes less. I was getting hard starts when the car sits fuel pressure checks out. I left the tender on all week and the car fired right up!! If I leave the tender on only for a day it wont fire right up? The battery is fairly new but I dont know how long the car was sitting at the dealer for

Burning Brakes
Battery tenders/Trickle chargers (1.5-2 amp charge) will take up to 34hrs to fully charge a battery.
Reference Page 14:

315-550CCA=14.5-18.5 hrs @2 amps
550-1000CCA=18.5-34 hrs @2 amps
315-550CCA=3.5-4.5 hrs @8 amps
550-1000CCA=4.5-8.75 hrs @8 amps
315-550CCA=3-3.25 hrs @10 amps
550-1000CCA=3.25-7 hrs @10 amps
I would charge the battery all the way and have it tested. sounds like its bad even if its newer. also if it is a serviceable battery add distilled water to top it off.
