Don't let this happen to you guys upgrade your driveshafts even if your car is just a bolt on car. This is a shaft we took out of a bolt on automatic LS3 Corvette.

The new shafts with one coupler in the rear which is what 90% of people order and run due to their hp applications don't produce any additional noise. When you put a billet coupler in each end you get a little noise but you have to really listen for it and hunt the noise. This is not in every car but we have had a few make slight noise. Its a good overall setup that will support a lot of additional power with virtually no drawbacks.

Yeah, the reason I ask is that I tried a trans brace once (PFADT) ... installed it, drove it, removed it, sold it all in the same day... It was horrible.... Removing Tq tube is not something you can just do.... so are you saying the DS w 1 billet coupler and 1 OEM rubber, poly coupler? Getting ready to add a 150 shot to my already built 414'.... Will be well over 700 hp/tq.....
Any testimonials w this set up??

We recommend replacing the rear one with a billet piece at any horsepower rating. This paired with a factory or poly front is good to around 750hp. With you being on the bubble of that rating I would look at what you do with the car. If you do a lot of drag racing where the car hooks hard I would consider doing both. If you just roll race or something like that just the rear will probably be sufficient. There are several people on here running different variations of our shafts and couplers, maybe they will chime in. To give you some perspective we have put 2 couplers and our shafts in cars making well over 900rwhp that see a lot of race time with no issues. Almost every car we do any trans or clutch work to here gets at least a rear coupler put in it. The shaft pictured above is a factory GM shaft that paired with our couplers on both ends and was taken out of a C5 auto car that we swapped a LS3 based 418 stroker. This car was just a well built NA car and the GM shaft gave up on the street from a roll.
