Backspace on C5Z06 wheels
Anybody know?
Running 15x8 with 4.5" bs now on another car (old A body)
Want to see if these will work or do I need a spacer (which type)
Wouldnt mind a spare set to throw on in case I feel like going around a corner. Has welds/skinnies on it right now.

A front C5ZO6 wheel has a 7.38" backspace, and a 8.03" backspace on the rear wheels.
Helped a friend with his 1968 Malibou, did the SC&C Street Comp Stage II adjustable front upper control arms with the tall lower ball joints & extra tall upper ball joints. His custom spec'd Lee power steering box, 12.7 ratio. Reused the existing Eibach springs & KYB shocks, installed Addco sway bars. Converted to power brakes with a C4 Corvette brake kit & PBR calipers.
For wheels, American Racing 18x8 5" back space with 245/40/18 Nitto's and 18x9.5 5.5" backspace with 275/40/18 Nitto's.
This car steers like a new Camaro. The wheel align guy really liked the adjustable control arms, and was able to get 7* caster. Plus the tall lower ball joints corrects the bump steer, and the extra tall uppers fixes the backwards camber gain that all old cars have. So this keeps the tires flat in a turn.
Next up is a GM LS3 FI crate motor and a 4L60E trans.
