Seems a lot of people come on here asking how an exhaust sounds; some about Ti mufflers, more about mods to exhaust systems.
I ran a stock level today, using a Radio Shack sound level meter at 3' from tips of pipes. It'll be some time (before spring is all I can promise) before I post the next results, but they're coming.
Hoping to do a x-pipe change only with video, then headers with hi-flow cats. But the x-pipe change on its own is a bit of extra work (remove, mod, re-install only to tear it out again for headers), hard to say if it'll happen for sure or not.
First video is completely stock exhaust; manifolds, cats (single pair, no pup cats such as on earlier models), H-pipe, Ti mufflers.

Second test; again 3' from tips of pipes. Texas Speed headers, Magnaflow cats and X-pipe (which I modded to 4 3/4" C-C to suit the stock mid pipe rear portion), Ti mufflers.
