You can not as the c5 shift **** attaches to the shaft differently

Ok thanks. I guess I'll have to get used to a c6 ****. It's just that the leather doesn't match the boot

This may have been asked already but.... Is this a stock length or shortened shifter? And how much difference is it between the c6 shortened and stock length?

It is a shortened shaft and a shortened shift. I don't have exact #'s on the shifter shaft height. There are some threads here on the forum showing pictures of the differences installed.

It is the normal shifter which is also the z06 shifter now. The original z06 shifter with the solid bushings was done away with by GM as it was allowing driveline vibrations to travel up the shaft and causing complaints so GM did away with it
