Default Nitto NT05 availability

FYI - I purchased a set of Nitto NT05's for the stock Z06 wheels on 11-11-14 from DTD, they're just shipping as of this morning...were on backorder. If you were looking to purchase them now may be a good time as it looks like they have fresh stock, so they're available and freshly manufactured not sitting in a warehouse rotting...

Their website still shows the 295/35 18 on backorder.

Worth a call to your local Discount Tire, they found a set of rears for me at a store in OR...no charge for shipping. They were also shown as BO on the website (this was 3 weeks ago).

What's the date code on them? I'm waiting for those too.

I called a few discount tire shops in Socal yesterday and they were all able to have them for me within 3 days. I think they need to update the website because they are available. If not, you can request a 305/35/18 or even a 315/35/18.

That is good to hear. I hope they are available in the Spring. I am in Florida for the winter and the car is up north in storage. Does the 305 work out OK on stock wheels?

Yes, 305 will mount fine on stock rear rims. We won't know if these are new production tires until we hear/see date codes on them. Those could be old stock.

It's a 200 tread ware tire. I run them on stock wheels in 275/295's. Pretty sticky for a non DR street tire, very happy with them.

For an 18" rim, the largest size that they show is a 295X35.
I would be very happy to have someone show me that a 305 or 315 is available in an 18" rim size
