C5 Steinjager Sway Bars?
Anyone heard/running these sway bars and endlinks? They are super low priced and include endlinks. Wondering if anyone has experience with these? Im stuck between trying these or going with the tried and true C6 Z06 bars for my C5. Discuss......

The bars look good and the end link options seem good too. I like the extreme ends with the nylon, probably reduces possibility of squeaking. I've often thought of stiffer bars and at this price it seems much more likely. Some other seem unnecessarily too expensive, since there isn't much to a swaybar.

Well the bars came yesterday. Heres what I can tell so far
They seem to be good quality/made parts. Powdercoated black. Endlinks are also nice
They are a hollow sway bar so they are super light weight. Both bars together with the endlinks and packaging was only 14pds.
Front bar is 31.75mm
Rear bar is 25.5mm
Im thinking for the total price with endlinks you would be crazy not to pick up a set. I see no way you can tell the difference between a c5 with these and a c5 with more expensive sways.

I recently installed the Steinjäger anti-roll bars for C5 Corvette on my 2003 C5 Corvette Z06. The rear bar went in easily and the stock length end links fit perfectly. The front bar was much harder to install and the stock length end links were too short and caused the bar to rub on both lower A-arms.
If you order the The Steinjäger anti-roll bars, I would recommend ordering the "Steinjäger 1997-2004 Corvette End Links For Front Sway Bars PTFE Rod Ends C5". I have ordered and received a set and they seem like they will allow for enough clearance between the bar and lower A-arms.
If I had to do it all over again, I would purchase stock replacement anti-roll bars (FE4), polypro bushings and Moog end links and save myself the headache of figuring out what components worked together.

Just an update-- I installed these recently and they all fit great. I reused my oem metal endlinks and everything went well. Heres a quick pic of the front bar next to the oem C5 Z51 front bar.....big difference.

Planning to order these in two days. Was planning to get the entire kit with their polyurethane bushings and HD PTFE end links, but it looks like I should get the kit without the end links and just use the GM metal end links, correct?
BTW, how do you like them? Does the car corner flatter? Did it change the ride quality? Any clunking or odd noises compared to the stock bars?
I found this video of someone competing in an auto-x with the Steinjager's here:

Also sent you a PM but it has the same type of questions since I sent that first thinking that this thread was really old when it isn't, lol.

The rear sways for the C5 Z51 and Z06 are the same diameter at 1" but the Z06 front sway is roughly 1mm larger than the Z51 (1.12" vs 1.38") .
Check this out:

Interestingly enough, the Steinjager front sway bar at 1.25" is slightly larger than the C5 Z51 unit but slightly smaller than the C5 Z06 sway bar. The rears are the same 1" diameter as the C5 Z51/Z06 units however.
This should yield more steering than the C5 Z51 setup but less than the C5 Z06 setup. The base FE1 springs like I have with the Steinjager's would have a little less overall grip under higher bite conditions but may have a little more grip in lower bite/ street road conditions since the FE1 springs are softer than the Z51 springs. I think they will still be way better than the base FE1 setup that I have, especially since I'll have my C6 Z06 shocks in there as well.
