So I use to own a 04 c5z with minor work done to it..,( big cam., tune,short shifter ) but had a accident and was considered a total loss., well I recently found it for sale on craigslist and could not believe the high price they were asking for it and how the car was supposedly in very good shape with no problems and no frame damage., if anything hat car was far from having no problems .,it consumed oil like 1 qt per 1k miles , powers tearing was going out, and had a leak , needed suspension work , new clutch , heads up display went out,would over heat after long drives , nd interior had a few broken peaces done by the previous owner .., and besides all that I beat the hell out of it and drove it like I stole it since day 1..m., anyway be ware and watch out if yur in the market for a c5z cus this one I do not recomend

The time has come where the c5z is cheap enough to buy on any budget and those who buy them just to beat the hell out of them are doing so.

I have seen this way too many times in my life, but unfortunately now it's the C5's turn on the chopping block.

I wish I had the budget to have a pristine C5Z as well as my C7, I would buy one.

I would buy the nicest CommemorativeZ or a super nice 04Z I feel the 04 cars were the best of the lot.

I suggest if you have one you love hold on to it, because you will miss it when it's gone.
