GMPP red ls1/ls6 spark plug wires
Hey -
I bought a pack of GMPP red ls1/ls6 spark plug wires and when I measured them, they were ~720Ohms. When I measured the 15 yr old ones off my LS1 camaro, they were ~320Ohms.
Why would the GMPP be higher resistance?
Do spark plug wires break-in to have a lower resistance once they are heat cycled?

Yeah they are same exact length. Stock 2000 LS1 Camaro plug wires vs brand new GMPP red LS1/6 plug wires..
Does anyone know if spark plug wires have a break-in period? Or is there a reason they much higher in resistance?

I think this is a good read.
Long story short, don't get too caught up with the measured resistance in a DC ohm meter.
