Default Eradispeed ER2's/ 18 in wheels..

It IS possible.... After doing tons of research on this topic my car is proof positive that this can be done. Installed the Baer Eradispeed
ER2's and there are no clearance issues whatsoever. That being said I am running the Forgestar F14's in C6Z (rear offset) C6 (front offset). I have read (even recently) of guys selling their 18's for fear that they will not clear... I'm here to tell you they fit just fine.

As a caveat'... I want to personally recognize Bobby @ LGM for going above and beyond w my brake pads... He inadvertently sold me some Stop Tech pads for a C6.... ( found out with my car apart).. He sent me the proper pads via courier to my home 45 mi away in < 1 hr!! That my friends is customer SERVICE! Thanks Bobby. Anyway... Need to clean up the car, but you get the idea.

Find a nice open road... one that you can speed up and slow down a bunch and not cause too much attention to yourself etc. Get the car to 2nd gear... punch it and get it up into high rpms and brake hard all the way back down to 2000-2500 rpm or so, then repeat 6-10 ish times until the brakes begin to fade. Then drive the car easy for a while, don't come to a complete stop with the brakes engaged or use the ebrakes (this is the cool down process).

Something like that is basically what all street pads recommend for bedding in.

What he said.

Get to top of second gear and SLAM on your brakes as hard as you can without activating ABS down to 25 mph.. Repeat over and over until you start feeling brake fade. Then drive around for a few minutes to allow cool down. Make sure you don't come to a complete stop with your brakes engaged during the cool down.
