Ls1 intake would def have the provisions for egr, so it should be a dead giveaway. 00and up had ls6 Intake right?

I just looked at an LS1 Vette locally that was a bolt on car. For fun I looked at where the stamp should be and it was blank as well. I'm not saying it has LS1 heads its just that I have never seen it and now this is the second time.

If you had 3.42 rear gear the # would 10 to 12hp higher

Def seems low. My 99 M6 coupe with vararam, LS6 intake, LG headers, and Speed Inc Si5 cam with updated springs and rods, made 393/378.

I had thought about that too. But still would make for some low numbers.

If the work was done in 2002 that could have something to do with it, aside from the head issue.

I had a 2002 Camaro SS back in the late 2000s and it made 403rwhp with a similar sized cam and full bolt ons, stock heads. The aftermarket parts weren't very aggressive in 2002, not like they are now and the motors weren't as well known.
