Default Z06 Brake Ducts

Looking into installing some Z06 brake ducts on an frc. I'm wondering what does this entail? Are the parts costly? Thanks folks.

Do you want functional or just the stick on ones?

There are several venders that have them available....you can do a search of sponser venders here or ebay....Doing the real ones would get expensive.

Stick on ones look terrible...I put a set of real ones on when I had my 2000 Vette. I bought all the parts from GM and made them functional. I believe the cost was about $250.00 for everything including nuts and bolts. I used a template and cut the rockers with a dremel. You also have to pull out the inner wheel well covers and cut them for the duct work. The area you need to cut is already marked by GM. Whole job took maybe 3 hours. Good Luck!

Yes please if your gonna do them do em right. The stick-ons look terrible. There is a template to print out so you can cut the hole in your rocker properly. But once you go scooped, you cant go back.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely not doing the stick ons. Now I just have to convince myself to hack up the rockers. That won't be easy.

It was def alittle disconcerting making that first cut but the end result is well worth it.
